My education focused on mastering tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat. While four years couldn’t cover everything, our professors gave us the problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to learn new tools on our own. This foundation allows me to continually grow and tackle design challenges. As you scroll through this page, you'll see how I’ve applied these skills, along with my own creative problem-solving, to craft beautiful, hand-made designs for companies, clients, and personal projects.

Imagination Station

These graphics were created for Imagination Station’s annual Kid’s Day to be posted on their social media pages. The design was inspired by the checkered floor in the store’s Play Lab, where the event takes place. I enhanced the design with playful colors and shapes to create a festive feel and build excitement for the event!

The first two graphics were created to celebrate the launch of ImaginationStationShop.com. The next two were designed with a similar style and posted when the website added purchasing capabilities. The design emulates a playful chalkboard theme, blending the concepts of toys and education—perfect for a store that offers both.

Recently, I’ve been collaborating with the owners of Imagination Station to redesign their logo in celebration of 20 years in business. The logo hadn’t been fully updated in two decades, and it’s time to modernize while still honoring the store's roots. The goal is to attract a new generation of customers while preserving the charm and nostalgia of a classic, locally owned, mom-and-pop toy store. Below, you’ll see the original design followed by a preview of the new design, which is still in progress.

Midwest Artist Academy

Midwest Artist Academy is a camp offered to high school students across the Midwest. During my senior year of college, I collaborated with a group of Graphic Communications students to create patterns for social media graphics, postcards, video edits, and other marketing materials for the camp. While some of the designs are a bit outdated now, these were created in 2021.
